Physical and mental health are a priority in my day-to-day life and that of my clients. As a former athlete and among the top personal trainers in Los Angeles, I have achieved great success in my career so far and feel very content with the person I am today both on a personal and professional level. I measure success by the level of satisfaction and fulfillment I experience every day as I reflect on how my Personal Training and Group Fitness Classes in West Los Angeles are progressing and impacting my life and that of other people. An analogy I use is: you cannot push your Ferrari to the limit and maintain it in pristine condition unless you use the best gas and perform routine maintenance on it. Your body and soul need top fuel in the form of a personal training program that incorporates personalized strategic workouts, a tailored-to-your-goals & healthy diet, and adequate rest & recovery techniques to run smooth and keep pushing you to the limit. For me it is key to devote my 120% to this lifestyle and instill in my clients new healthy habits by emphasizing the importance of committing to a personal training program that sets specific goals & milestones and tracks progress.
Committing to one of my tailored personal training programs (which incorporates a combination of cardio and core exercises, stability training, bodyweight explosive movements, weight training, and the occasional high intensity training session) is one of the single most effective preventative activities you can do to improve general health and fitness. Weight training raises your metabolism, builds strength, and even strengthen bones and relieve stress. Cardio improves heart health and stamina, relieves stress, and boosts energy levels.
I am very result-oriented, attentive, and caring to clients’ needs and requests. I adopt a personalized approach for each client according to their fitness level, injury, work schedule, current diet and goals. I am available almost 24/7 offering a personal training concierge type of service, providing one-on-one consultations and assessments, personal fitness goals setting and schedule, motivational and inspiring exercise environment at my private personal training and group fitness classes studio in Los Angeles. My personal training programs also incorporate nutritional pointers and journal review, at home workout assignments and inspiring videos.
I stay fit by creating weekly plans that incorporate specific food choices and macro target ratios to stay disciplined and on track. I also shape the environment around me, from my kitchen to my personal in-house exercise space, to match my goals and to remove distractions and temptations. This streamlines and makes my grind more effective. The majority of my workout routine consists of daily practice rounds for my own group fitness class program StingFIT®: An all-bodyweight, athlete-inspired, high-energy and motivational workout charged by house and trance beats that incorporates explosive movements and core strengthening exercises to improve max performance, stamina and agility.
I also strength train 3 times per week focusing on compound movements, longer rest periods and fewer, quality reps within the 6-8 range of strength exercise staples such as bench press, squats, pull-ups, and deadlifts. I try to visit local chiropractic, stretch, or yoga (and meditation) studios on a regular basis to speed up recovery and keep my mind, joints, and muscle healthy and flexible through stretching, icing, EMS, ultrasound therapy.
Living in LA, I also love going on outdoor hikes and get some good cardio in, raising that heart rate up, either through sprint intervals, jumping rope, or bringing my battle ropes for a total body fat-incinerating workout. I also teach high-energy group fitness classes several times a week and definitely enjoy breaking a sweat with class students when demonstrating circuits and going around the room to check form and technique.
